Sponsor a Dog or Cat

Sponsor a dog or cat in our care and help provide care while they are waiting for their forever home. For a contribution of $50 per month you can sponsor a dog or cat on our website. Your sponsorship wording will be displayed beneath your chosen dog or cat’s web profile. Sponsor an animal for yourself, or to honor or remember a special person or pet. Go to our adoptable dogs or adoptable cats page, and click on the “Sponsor Me” link below their photo.

Sponsor a Medical Animal

Veterinary care for the animals in our program is one of AFRP’s largest expenses. We are able to save the lives of the sick and injured animals that end up in our local shelters thanks to the support of generous donors like you. Click here to see the dogs and cats that are currently undergoing lifesaving medical treatment or make a lifesaving donation to our medical fund.

Sponsor an Ad

Help get adoptable animals valuable exposure by sponsoring a photo ad in one of our local newspapers. Individuals or businesses that want to help some of our harder to place animals find their forever homes can sponsor a one-time ad, or a weekly or monthly ad. A portion of the ad space will be devoted to you, with your logo or name displayed on the ad. For more information email info@animalfriendsrescue.org with “Ad Sponsor” in the subject line. 

Sponsor an Adoption Fee

Do you have a favorite AFRP dog or cat but can’t adopt? You can do a good deed and pre-pay their adoption fee to help them find their forever home more quickly. Dogs and cats with waived fees have special notations on their web profiles, saying their adoption fee has been sponsored by a generous donor. Adoption fee for cats is $150. Adoption fee for dogs is $300. Make a donation here

Sponsor a Special Event

We work collaboratively with local businesses and individuals that support our programs and events, including our spectacular Happy Tails Gala in December. Sponsoring an AFRP event promotes your business, engages employees and helps homeless pets. We offer sponsorship packages that give your business recognition and visibility in the community. Sponsor an AFRP Loads of Love Transport

Since 2007, local shelter dogs and cats have been getting a second chance at a lifetime of love thanks to our Loads of Love Transport Program. Several times a month, at-risk animals from our local shelters are transported to safety at animal welfare organizations in Northern California and Oregon, where they are quickly adopted. For a donation of $100, you can cover the cost of transporting 20 animals to safety. Sponsor a Loads of Love Transport, and write “Transport” in the information field.
