Hi, I'm Tyson. Adopt Me!
German Shorthaired Pointer
Brown and White
Adult, Male
Tyson, a one-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer, was surrendered to the emergency vet clinic in Monterey for euthanasia after being hit by a car and suffering a painful open fracture of his right hind leg, and lacerations on his left hind paw. This beautiful, friendly dog required immediate amputation surgery to prevent life-threatening infection. He is now in foster care receiving pain management, bandage changes and lots of love and encouragement as he recovers. We are hoping to raise $6,500 to cover the cost of Tyson’s hospitalization, surgery, pain medications and follow-up care. He will be available for adoption once he has recovered from surgery.
