Senior gentleman! Tigger was adopted from AFRP as a kitten, and returned to our care as a older cat when his guardian could no longer care for him. Tigg is a handsome 17-year-old green-eyed orange tabby with wonderful manners and a mellow personality. He has always been an indoor-only cat and he is happy to keep you company while you watch TV or read a book. He eats a special renal diet to slow the progression of kidney disease, and needs subcutaneous fluids twice a week. He was recently diagnosed with thyroid disease and he takes daily medication to keep his numbers in range. He is deaf, which sometimes causes him to vocalize a bit more loudly than other cats. Mostly, Tigger loves to relax, lounge, eat, and get his daily brushing. Occasionally he enjoys chasing a wand toy, and he is very spry for his age. Tigger will do best as a single cat in the home.
