Hi, I'm Ted. I was adopted on February 10!
Poodle Mix
White and Tan
Young, Male
Sweet boy! Ted (aka Ted E. Bear) is a bouncy 10-month-old, 13-pound ball of fluff and kisses. He has been in foster care since coming to AFRP from the Hitchcock Road Animal Services as a timid stray. Though a bit shy initially, Ted warms up quickly and he especially loves playing with other dogs. Squeaky toys and chew bones are his favorite things! Ted is a very affectionate and cuddly dog that loves spending time on your lap. This young dog did not get any training in his previous life, and he still needs help with leash-walking, house training and basic obedience skills. He’s looking for an adopter that can discourage marking behavior (we can provide tips) and can give him lots of love and gentle guidance. He’d love to be part of a multi-dog household. Adult adopter or family with kids over age 8 preferred. This is a breed that requires regular professional grooming. For more information or to arrange a meet and greet, please fill out an online application.
Please note: Due to COVID-19, preference is given to residents of Monterey County and Santa Cruz County.
