Hi, I'm Taz. I was adopted on October 3!

Boxer Mix

Tan

Adult, Male

Compassionate Choice Adoption: Taz's adoption fee is waived! Taz (previously known as Nelson) is a sweet and silly 5-year-old, 50-pound Boxer mix with tons of happy energy and the cutest underbite you'll ever see! He was adopted from AFRP as a pup and returned to AFRP when his guardians had a change in life circumstances. Taz is a smart dog that is completely house trained, loves going for rides in the car and sleeps happily in his crate at night with the door wide open! He has graduated from obedience classes and knows his basic commands. Taz can be reactive with other dogs, and will do best as a single dog in the home, with no cats or young children. He's looking for an experienced adopter that can work with Taz to help him become an even more awesome dog. Taz is currently seeking a temporary foster home or a forever home.  For more information about arranging a meeting with Taz, please fill out an online adoption application.

Please note: Due to COVID-19, we are giving preference to residents of Monterey County and Santa Cruz County.
