Shall we dance? Tango is a delightful 2-year-old, 11-pound Chihuahua mix that loves to follow her humans around the house and hop on any available lap! Sweet and social, Tango gets along nicely with other dogs, cats and even chickens! She’s a quiet and well mannered dog that rarely barks and is doing well with her house training. Tango knows how to sit on command, and she’s eager to learn more basic obedience skills. She is very treat-motivated and eager to please! Tango is a gentle and calm dog that loves to spend her day lounging, sleeping, sunbathing and snuggling under blankets. Even though she is small, she is brave and is not afraid to let other dogs know when she needs some space. Tango came to AFRP from the Hitchcock Road Animal Services after coming in as a timid stray. She has blossomed in foster care, but she is still cautious when meeting new people. She warms up most quickly to women. Tango will do best in a calm home where she will get plenty of attention, love and additional training and socialization. Adult household or family with gentle kids over age 8 preferred. Meet and greets can be arranged once an application is approved.
