Sweet Pea is a super cute 8-year-old, 8-pound love bug that craves attention and will follow you around the house hoping for some petting and lap time. She came to AFRP from the Hitchcock Road Animal Services in poor condition, missing much of her fur and needing medication to control a seizure disorder. Her fur has grown back beautifully, but she will need to be on twice-daily medication for her lifetime to control seizures. Sweet Pea can be a bit shy when meeting new people, but she warms up quickly to become your loyal little friend. She is house trained and gets along nicely with other dogs, but does not care to play with them. Sweet Pea is looking for a calm household and an adopter that can work with their vet for regular visits to monitor her lab work and medications.
