Hi, I'm Sundae. I was adopted on December 2!

Terrier Mix

Tri-Color

Adult, Female

For a sweet treat every day, adopt Sundae, a gentle, cuddly and demure 11-pound, 2-year-old Terrier mix that is ready for her second chance. Though Sundae is initially shy when meeting new people, once she has warmed up to you she loves giving kisses, getting belly rubs and snuggling on laps. She is currently in foster care after coming to AFRP from the Hitchcock Road Animal Services after being left in the night drop kennel. Though it appears that Sundae did not get any formal training in her former life, she is making up for lost time by learning her basic commands, walking nicely on the leash and doing well with her potty training skills. She is a bit of a door-dasher, so “stay” is an especially important command to reinforce. Sundae responds nicely to praise and treats, and she is very trainable. She loves going for walks and zooming around her backyard! She currently lives with kids ages 8 and 10 in her foster home. If you like the look of a German Shepherd in a small, portable size, you’ll love Sundae! She’ll succeed beautifully with a patient adult adopter or family with gentle kids over age 8. To arrange a meet and greet, please fill out an online application.

Please note: Due to COVID-19, preference is given to residents of Monterey County or Santa Cruz County.
