Scotty is a sweet and friendly 3-month-old kitten that suffered a badly broken hind leg when he was hit by a car. X-rays were done, and due to the severity of the fracture and it’s proximity to the growth plate, surgical amputation was the best option for helping Scotty live a happy, pain-free life. Scotty underwent surgery at our AFRP vet clinic on June 21, and he is currently in foster care while his incision heals.
