Raven and her sister Crow (also on the web) are silky-soft 8-month-old black kittens looking for loving and patient adopters that will give them time to blossom at their own pace. Born to a community cat in South Monterey County, Raven was too friendly to put back on the streets. Transferred to an AFRP foster home, she has been gradually gaining confidence and learning to trust humans. Raven is comfortable with other cats and friendly dogs. Once she gets to know and trust you, she warms up and enjoys being touched and petted. Patience will be rewarded with purrs and affection! Raven will do best in an adult household or with a family with quiet, older children. She will need to start out in a separate safe room, and gradually explore the rest of the house in the following weeks and months as she starts to feel comfortable.
