Pierre is a sweet and sensitive 5-month-old terrier mix. He will melt your heart as he melts in your arms! Pierre came to AFRP from the Monterey County Animal Services after arriving as a sick stray. He was positive for Parvovirus and happily he recovered from this life threatening illness. Now Pierre is a happy and healthy puppy ready for his forever home. He is potty trained, crate trained and loves to play. He can be very timid when first meeting new people and he’ll do best with a patient adopter that can slowly build a bond of trust. He likes women but can be nervous around children and men. He will do best in a quiet, adult household or a family with gentle teens. He is stressed by car rides and by experiencing new things.  Pierre sleeps soundly in his crate all night and has never had an accident in his crate. He gets along with other dogs of all sizes and personalities. He’s been raised in foster care with numerous other dogs and would love a buddy to play with.
