Hi, I'm Pez. I was adopted on December 19!

DSH

Black

Baby, Female

One of the litter named for a vintage candy, Pez is a 5-month-old black kitten with a sweet and playful personality. Raised in foster care after coming to AFRP from the Hitchcock Road Animal Services as a very sick, dehydrated two-week-old, Pez bounced back from a rough start and she is now a happy and healthy kitten that loves playing with toys and has perfect litter box manners. She gets along nicely with other cats and dogs, and she will do best in a household where he will have plenty of company during the day. A bit on the shy side, Pez will do best in an adult household with no small children. She is bonded with her brother Zotz, and they would like to be adopted as a pair.

Pez was diagnosed with iridociliary cysts, which is a rare condition in cats. The cysts give her pupils an unusual look almost like little stars. She does not require any treatment at this time, but her adopter will need to monitor this condition for her lifetime by visiting the veterinary ophthalmologist every two years. If the conditions worsens over time, surgery might be necessary.

Pez is currently at our Pet Food Express adoption location at the Crossroads in Carmel. Meet and greets can be arranged once your online application has been received and approved.
