Petunia is a sweet 2-year-old, 54-pound bundle of love! Affectionate and easygoing, Petunia loves everyone and thinks she’s a big lap dog. Currently in foster care after coming to AFRP from the Hitchcock Road Animal Services, Petunia loves people and is friendly with other dogs. She walks nicely on the leash and she’s doing great with her house training skills. Petunia does want to chase squirrels, birds and other small furry critters, so she’d do best in a home with no cats or with a confident, dog-savvy cat.  Petunia is eager to learn and she is working on her basic obedience commands. She is sensitive and responds best to gentle correction. For a young dog, she is very low energy and mature. Content to sit with you and soak up all the petting you can spare, Petunia is ready to become a lifelong friend for an adult adopter or family with kids over age 8.
