Hi, I'm Peanut. I was adopted on September 3!
DSH
Brown Tabby
Baby, Female
Peanut is a sweet but timid 3-month-old brown tabby kitten that is working on gaining confidence. She and her sister Soufflé, also on the web, were raised and socialized in foster care after being rescued from the streets as young kittens. Peanut is still startled by unexpected sounds, movements and activities, but she’s very sweet and will climb onto to your lap to sleep. She’s not a fan of being picked up or carried, but she will seek you out if you’re sitting. When you pet her, she will instantly arch her little back to push up into the scratch, which is pretty cute. She will gladly receive love as long as she doesn’t feel forced. Peanut will do best in a quiet home with no kids and with an adopter that continue to help her come out of her shell. Soufflé and Peanut are a bonded pair and they would love to be adopted together. They are currently in foster care and are available for meet and greets. The first step is to fill out an online application.
Please note: Due to COVID-19, preference is giving to residents of Monterey County and Santa Cruz County.
