Hi, I'm Oreo. I was adopted on August 20!
Terrier Mix
Black and White
Adult, Female
Named for everybody’s favorite comfort cookie, Oreo is a sweet 2-year-old, 13-pound black and white Terrier mix that is ready for a loving home after suffering a traumatic injury. She came to AFRP after arriving at the Salinas Shelter with a laceration around her belly from a deeply embedded string or rubber band. Happily, her wound was cleaned and stitched, and she has healed beautifully in foster care. Oreo loves people and is friendly with both men and women. She’s an energetic and playful dog that enjoys her toys and walks around the neighborhood. She knows her name and knows how to sit when asked. Oreo is crate trained and is doing well with her house training skills. She is good with some dogs and not with others, so a proper introduction will be key when going to a home with other canines. She is interested in chasing cats, so a feline-free household will be best for her. If you are interested in giving Oreo the safe and loving home she deserves please fill out an online application and we’ll get back to you with more information. At this time we are adopting to residents of Monterey County only.
