With a big happy smile and a relaxed and mellow personality, Nellie Bean is an 9-year-old, 65-pound Pit Bull mix that loves to go for slow walks around the neighborhood and quietly nap at your feet. Nellie was adopted from AFRP as a puppy, and recently returned to our care when her guardian could no longer care for her. She loves people, gets along great with other dogs, and loves attention and dog treats. Like many older dogs, Nellie has some arthritis and takes a daily anti-inflammatory medication. She recently had a dental and she's ready to go!
