Hi, I'm Monkey. I was adopted on February 21!

Young, Female

Just as silly and mischievous as her name, Monkey is a sweet 5-month-old calico kitten that can be shy at first, but loves attention once she gets to know you. Monkey came to us from the Monterey County Animal Services as a tiny stray, and unfortunately she was diagnosed with ringworm (a fungal skin condition) and she needed to spend many months at our AFRP Vet Clinic while being treated. Happily, she is all clear and she’s ready for her forever home. Just like a young puppy, Monkey tends to want to chew on her toys, so her adopter will need to make sure she does not swallow anything she shouldn’t. She’ll do best in a quiet home with an adult adopter or a family with older kids where she can be supervised and given lots of love and play time. Monkey is currently at our Petco adoption location at the Del Monte Center in Monterey. Meet and greets can be arranged once your online application has been received and approved.
