Mercury is looking for a lap! He’s an affectionate 1-year-old Colorpoint Longhair or Himalayan mix with a thick, soft coat and bright blue eyes. Found as a neglected stray, Mercury was matted and infested with fleas when found by kind citizen. Currently in foster care, Mercury is soaking up the luxuries of soft beds, regular meals and plenty of petting and brushing. He’s a talkative cat with lots of personality and lots of love to share. When he’s not sitting on your lap, he enjoys relaxing near a window so he can keep an eye on what is going on outside. He is using his litter box and has an excellent appetite. Mercury will do best in a home with people around much of the day. Adult adopters or family with kids over age 8 would be best. We are not sure how Mercury does with other cats or dogs. Mercury is currently at our Pet Food Express adoption location at the Crossroads in Carmel. Meet and greets can be arranged once your online application has been received and approved.
