Hi, I'm Melina. I was adopted on November 29!
DSH
Grey Tabby and White
Adult, Female
Melina is a petite 1-year-old grey tabby and white cat that is doing great after a challenging chapter of her life. She came to AFRP from the Hitchcock Road Animal Services after coming in as a very young, malnourished homeless mother cat with premature kittens to care for. Now that her kittens are ready for adoption, her job has shifted from being a mother to being a playful young cat. Melina loves to chase laser pointers and wand toys, and she is a very high-energy cat that can become overstimulated at times. She’s looking for a cat-savvy adopter that can read her signs and knows when to let her settle down on her own. Melina has perfect litter box manners and she can be very sweet and affectionate once she gets to know you. She has a great purr! Melina is shy with strangers, and she will do best in an adult household with no children due to her somewhat unpredictable personality. Currently at our Pet Food Express adoption location, meet and greets can be arranged once your online application has been received and approved.
