Maisie is an exceptionally sweet-natured 3-year-old, 13-pound Terrier Mix that loves every person and every dog she meets! She and her puppy Cindy Lou came to AFRP from the Hitchcock Road Animal Services after being picked up as strays. Since then, Maisie has been busy raising her daughter in foster care, and now that Cindy Lou is weaned, she’s ready for a home of her own. The spiky blue ball you see in Maisie’s photos is her very favorite toy. When you toss the ball, she will return it to your hand, over and over again! She’ll take a break when she gets tired, but she’ll bring back the ball when she’s ready for more. Maisie craves attention and loves to sleep with you. She does not love her crate, but she does tolerate it. She walks nicely on the leash and she’s all-in-all a wonderful companion. Due to her light coloring and sensitive skin, she will need to be a mostly indoor dog to prevent sunburn. Maisie is currently in foster care.
