Crow and her sister Raven (also on the web) are silky-soft 8-month-old black kittens looking for loving and patient adopters that will give them time to blossom at their own pace. Born to a community cat in South Monterey County, Crow was too friendly to put back on the streets or work as a barn cat.  Transferred to an AFRP foster home, she has been gradually gaining confidence and learning to trust humans. Crow is comfortable with other cats and friendly dogs. Once she gets to know and trust you, she warms up and enjoys being touched and petted. Patience will be rewarded with purrs and affection! Crow will do best in an adult household or with a family with quiet, older children. She will need to start out in a separate safe room, and gradually explore the rest of the house in the following weeks and months as she starts to feel comfortable. Helping a shy cat gain confidence is a very rewarding project. Crow is currently at our Pet Food Express adoption location at the Crossroads in Carmel.
