Lula is a smart, happy and high-energy 3-month-old herding breed mix puppy looking for an adopter that can help her reach her amazing potential! We expect her to weigh about 40 pounds as an adult dog. Currently in foster care after being surrendered by a guardian that did not have time for her, Lula quickly mastered her potty training skills and is on her way to learning many basic obedience commands. She’s an affectionate pup that loves people and children, and she plays nicely with other dogs and is respectful of cats. Lula can be timid in new situations, but she adjusts quickly once she learns there is nothing to fear. Pre-registration for puppy obedience classes is a requirement for the adoption of Lula. This is a high-energy dog that will need approximately 3 hours of exercise per day. She’s a great match for an active, outdoorsy and dog-savvy family ready for a lifelong friend. This is not an apartment/condo dog, and preference is given to an adopter with a secure yard. Lula requires a home with another friendly, active dog.
