Lola is a very sweet and lovable 2-year-old, 17-pound small mixed breed who is eager to share her love with a forever family. Lola came to AFFRP from the Hollister Animal Shelter as a stray with three puppies in tow, and now that they are weaned, Lola is looking forward to lots of lap time, walks around the neighborhood and wandering in the backyard to smell the flowers. She’s an easygoing and gentle dog that gets along nicely with other dogs (unknown with cats) and she is friendly with every person she meets. Lola is completely house trained and happily sleeps in her crate at night. She walks nicely on the leash, and she knows her name and comes when called. She is eager to please and will love learning all of her basic obedience commands. She’s a good match for an adult adopter or family with gentle kids over age 6. She loves having a backyard for lounging and playing and someone home much of the day for companionship. Meet and greets can be arranged once your online application has been received and approved.
