Little Jack got his second chance after undergoing successful surgery to correct a heart defect in April. This 6-month-old, 7-pound pup is now feeling great and should live a long, happy life with no further complications. Little Jack was raised in foster care after coming to AFRP from New Beginnings Rescue. He is a very sweet boy that loves the people he knows, but can be a bit shy with strangers. Little Jack absolutely loves the company of other small dogs, and he would greatly benefit from having a dog companion/mentor in his new home. He will happily play second-fiddle to their alpha, while running and playing. It is adorable when he gets the roomies and runs all around the house or yard! Little Jack will do best with a patient adopter that will give him time to bond and trust. He’ll reward his special adopter with a lifetime of love and loyalty!
