This 1-year-old, 15-pound mixed breed (likely a Dachshund/Terrier mix) has a zest for life after having successfully battled the potentially deadly parvovirus and lived to tell the tale. Currently in foster care after coming to AFRP from the Hitchcock Road Animal Services as a very sick pup, Lenny has made a wonderful recovery and he is now making up for lost time by romping with his doggie pals and zooming around the backyard with joyful abandon. This bright dog is house trained and crate trained, and he’s learning his basic obedience commands in foster care. Lenny is instantly friends with every dog he meets, (unknown with cats) and he would love to go to a home with one or more friendly dogs in the household.
