Meet Kristy, a lovely 2-month-old orange tabby kitten with a beautiful swirled coat. She’s a happy, healthy and energetic girl that loves to play with stuffed toys, which she “hunts” with great enthusiasm! Kristy and her brothers were raised in foster care after coming to AFRP from the Hitchcock Road Animal Services. A bit uneasy about human contact at first, Kristy has made great progress and she is learning how nice it is to be rubbed and petted. She tolerates being held in your arms for short periods before squirming away for more play time. She is very treat-motivated, which makes socialization sessions very successful. Kristy gets along great with other cats, but she is uneasy about the dog in her foster home. She’ll be a wonderful match for a cat-savvy adult adopter that can help her continue to gain trust and confidence. Kristy is currently at our Pet Food Express adoption location at the Crossroads in Carmel. Meet and greets can be arranged once your online application has been received and approved.
