Hi, I'm K.B.. I was adopted on December 22!

K.B. is currently Sponsored by:
K.B. (short for Kona Baby) is a handsome, playful and athletic 7-year-old black cat who was rescued from the streets as an older kitten, which means he missed an important window of socialization as a kitten. K.B. remained very shy and wary for several years, but he does now enjoy asking for treats and sitting on the laps of the one or two people he trusts. He is still very distrustful of strangers, and he’s often in hiding. He’s looking for a very cat-savvy adopter that understands the needs of semi-feral cats. He does not like to be picked up, and he needs to be sedated in order to go to the vet. K.B. is currently in foster care but in the past he’s been one of our long term “office cats.” We’d love to see him find happiness in an adult, indoor-only home of his own. He is good friends with Clara Bell, also on the web, and they need to be adopted together. Watch KB’s video.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are giving preference to adopters in Monterey County and Santa Cruz County.
