Cuddly and sweet! Jaxx is a 5-year-old, 16-pound Shih Tzu looking for love after a rough patch in life. He came to AFRP from the Monterey County Shelter after arriving as a neglected, matted stray. He had several dermal masses that were examined, biopsied, and were fortunately found to be benign. Currently in foster care, Jaxx is a very affectionate dog that will make a wonderful companion dog. He loves everyone he meets, and he enjoys walks by the beach, chasing toys around the yard and cuddling on the couch. He loves to bring you a toy to play tug with, and then fetch it over and over again. Jaxx gets along with dog of all sizes and genders as long as they are gentle and respectful.
