Hi, I'm Jasmine. I was adopted on March 24!

Medium Mixed Breed

White

Adult, Female

Jasmine’s journey began in South Korea, and ended on the Central Coast of California, where she is beginning a new life after being rescued from the meat trade by Save Korean Dogs. Currently in foster care, this gorgeous 2-year-old, 35-pound sweetheart is enjoying life to the fullest. She’s a very sweet and affectionate dog that craves human attention and will lick your hand to ask for petting. She never had any dog toys in her previous life, but her foster mom says Jasmine is getting the hang of playing, and she now has a favorite stuffed alligator toy. Jasmine is house trained and she walks nicely on the leash without pulling. She absolutely loves to be brushed! She is a wonderful walking or hiking partner, and she’d be a great match for an active adopter.

Jasmine is still learning her basic obedience commands, and her new family will need to continue her training. She has a prey drive, and needs a home with no cats or small animals. She could live with a calm, small dog but no large dogs. Due to her reactivity when in close proximity to large dogs,  we are seeking an adopter that will work with a trainer in the beginning to help her gain confidence around larger dogs. Jasmine will do best with an experienced dog person in an adult household or family with kids over age 6.  She is not an apartment dog and requires a house with a secure yard. If you are interested in giving this very special dog her second chance, please fill out an online dog application. Meet and greets can be arranged once your application has been received and approved.
