Hi, I'm Jake. Adopt Me!
Border Collie
Brown and White
Baby, Male
Jake is a 3-month-old Border Collie pup that was one of three injured puppies that came to AFRP from the Hitchcock Road Animal Services after being rescued from horrific living conditions. Nearly two dozen dogs of all ages were living outdoors in close quarters, all competing for scraps of food. When Jake was rescued, he was suffering from an open compound fracture of his hind leg that had been left untreated for days or weeks. It was terribly infected and could not be saved. Jake underwent amputation surgery at Pet Specialists of Monterey and he is currently recovering in foster care. He will be available for adoption once he has fully recovered. Thank you for donating towards Jake’s medical expenses.
