Hi, I'm Honey. I was adopted on January 16!
Small Mixed Breed
Tan and White
Adult, Female
Don’t let Honey fool you at first with her shy and timid demeanor, because once she learns to trust you, you’ll be putty in her paws! She instantly changes into a lap dog, always looking to kiss you on the face, seek pets, and jump up to greet you. Another key to her heart is a friendly dog companion, so we are seeking an applicant with another dog already in the home.
Honey came to us from Hitchcock Road Animal services as a shut down stray, and she has blossomed in her foster home. She is both crate-trained and house-trained. Every day she opens up more and more, showing her playful personality with her love for toys and the desire to play with her foster siblings, including dogs, cats, and chickens. Due to her small size and initial shyness we are seeking an adult-only household or with children over 10 years of age. Honey is currently in a foster home. Meet and greets can be arranged once your online application has been approved.
