Grey Wind (aka Pepper) is a playful, precious and powerful 4-month-old Lab/Shepherd puppy that will bring some sweet spice to her forever family! She is one of four puppies named for canine characters in Game of Thrones. This smart and friendly 4-month-old, 25-pound Shepherd/Lab mix has been raised in foster care after coming to AFRP from the Hitchcock Road Animal Services with a life threatening case of Parvo. Happily, Grey Wind has completely recovered and she’s ready to share her love with a family of her own. Raised in foster care with a child, Grey Wind is gentle and attentive. She quickly warms up to new people of both genders. Her favorite activities are playing tug-of-war, chasing balls and bubbles, taking walks around the neighborhood, and going for outings at the beach. She is doing well with her potty training and she is learning to sit and stay. Grey Wind gets along with other dogs but will bark at cats. She takes correction well and could probably learn to live with a confident cat. She will be a large, active dog when full-grown (70-80 pounds) and she’d love a home with some safely fenced outdoor space for running, playing and exploring.
