Great things come in small packages! Goose is an itty-bitty 4-month-old, 3-pound Chihuahua Mix puppy that overcame a rough past and is looking forward to a bright and happy future with a family of her own. AFRP was contacted when a tiny puppy was found abandoned in a park in Salinas. She had a goose-egg sized lump on her head, (hence her name) and lacerations on her neck, as though she had been attacked by a dog or wild animal. Happily, Goose has completely recovered in foster care, and she has put the past behind her. She’s a happy, playful girl looking for an adult adopter experienced with the needs of very tiny and fragile dogs. Goose will likely only weigh 5-6 pounds as an adult. An adopter with the time to continue her training and give her plenty of love, attention and playtime will be the best match.
