Hi, I'm Ghost. I was adopted on November 4!
Shepherd/Lab
White
Young, Male
Winter is coming, and you won’t find a more loyal friend than Ghost, one of four puppies named for canine characters in Game of Thrones. This smart and friendly 4-month-old, 24-pound Shepherd/Lab mix has been raised in foster care after coming to AFRP from the Hitchcock Road Animal Services with a life threatening case of Parvo. Happily, Ghost has completely recovered and he’s full of happy wags, playful games and affectionate cuddles. Smart and eager to please, Ghost is doing well with his house training and he sleeps nicely in his crate all night. He has mastered sit and is working on stay and lay down. He’s a social dog that enjoys having people nearby, and he is currently living with kids ages 7 – 15. He is polite with other dogs, and has only been near cats under supervision. Ghost will be a wonderful match for an adopter that can continue his obedience training, remind him to use good manners, keep him on a consistent schedule/routine, and give him lots of love and attention. He will be a large, strong dog when full-grown, likely 70 – 80 pounds. To arrange a meet and greet with Ghost, please fill out an online application.
Please note: Due to COVID-19, preference is given to residents of Monterey County and Santa Cruz County.
