Hey there, Georgie Girl! This happy and fancy-free 1-year-old, 76-pound bundle of wags is ready to fill your life with an abundance of love and companionship. Currently in foster care, Georgie came to AFRP from the Hitchcock Road Animal Services after being picked up as a stray that was hit by a car. Fortunately, she got away with bumps and scrapes, and no major injuries. Georgie is an extremely social dog that loves meeting new people and enjoys playing with other dogs. Full of happy energy, Georgie enjoys going for walks, sniffing around the back yard and spending time with people. She’s a big, goofy and sometimes stubborn dog that will do well with and adopter that can set boundaries and continue her training. She is house trained and knows how to sit and shake hands for a treat. She is a big dog with a big bark! She will alert you to strangers with her loud voice. This is not an apartment dog and she’ll do best on a large property with solid fencing. She likes kids, but due to her size and tendency to get overexcited, she’d do best in a family with kids over age 7. Georgie has a thick coat and needs regular brushing. She’d love to become part of your pack! Meet and greets can be arranged once your online application has been received and approved.
