Hi, I'm Fellini. I was adopted on December 6!
Medium Mixed Breed
Brown and White
Baby, Male
After a bit of a rough life on La Strada, Fellini is ready for La Dolce Vita! This short-legged 1-year-old, 32-pound mixed breed is currently in foster care after coming to AFRP as a very shy stray from the Hitchcock Road Animal Services. Still a bit fearful, Fellini tends to be nearby, like your little shadow. Once he trusts you, he allows you to pet him but if he becomes startled he will run to his crate, which is his safe zone. Fellini is curious and like to know what is happening around him. He enjoys going for walks and relaxing in the garden. He is doing well with his house training skills, and he knows how to sit for a treat. He has some separation anxiety when left alone, and he is most relaxed when his people are home. Fellini is polite when meeting other dogs, and he enjoys the teenager in his foster home. He has not had experience with cats. Fellini is a good match for a calm and quiet adopter who can patiently work with Fellini and help him gain confidence. Prior experience with shy dogs is a plus. He is frightened by loud noises and commotion, so an adult household or family with gentle teens would be best. Fellini has come a long way since arriving from the shelter, and a kind and patient adopter will be rewarded with a lifetime of love and gratitude. Meet and greets can be arranged once your online application has been received and approved.
