Love bug! Ellie is a super sweet and affectionate 8-month-old Shih Tzu that loves belly rubs! She came to AFRP from a local vet clinic after her guardians declined to have her treated for Parvo. Happily, Ellie is now feeling great, and she’s currently in foster care learning the things all puppies need to know. Ellie is a sensitive dog that responds best to gentle correction. She is working on her potty training skills, and she sleeps all night quietly in her crate. She knows how to sit and she learns new commands quickly. Ellie is a friendly girl that loves everyone she meets and she’s good with other dogs and gentle children. She has not been tested with cats. Ellie is a great lap dog, but she also has plenty of puppy energy and she can chase her toys for hours. She rides nicely in the car and she enjoys going for walks around the neighborhood.
