Want to play? Cricket is a 4-month-old, 8-pound Dachshund mix puppy ready for a lifetime of love after a rough start in life. She and her sister Chelsea (also on web) were raised in foster care after being left in the night drop at the Hitchcock Road Animal Services as tiny underaged puppies. Cricket has a spicy and sweet personality, and loves to play and cuddle with her dog friends and her people. She’s smart and stubborn, and she does not hesitate to alert-bark if she thinks something is amiss. She’s looking for an experienced adopter and may not be the best fit for a first-time dog owner, as she likes to test her limits. She’d be great for a dachshund lover, as her personality very much fits the breed profile. She’s looking for an adopter that can give her plenty of love, attention and continued training.
