Cookie is a sweet, friendly and energetic 2-year-old, 11-pound Terrier mix that is ready to join you for life’s adventures. She came to AFRP after being surrendered to the Monterey County Animal Shelter on April 1 with 5 tiny puppies whose eyes were not even open yet. Cookie was a wonderful mother and she did a great job raising her pups in foster care. Now that they are ready for homes, Cookie’s job is done and she’s ready to soak up as much attention as you can spare! She did not get much education in the past, so she’s looking for an adopter that can work with her on basic obedience skills. She’s a smart girl and learns quickly! Cookie is currently in foster care and meet and greets can be arranged by appointment. The first step is to fill out an online application.
