Despite a rough start in life, Comet is an affectionate, trusting and sweet 2-year-old that will be a wonderful friend for a lucky adopter. Rescued from deplorable conditions with five tiny kittens in tow, Comet raised her babies in foster care and now that they are grown, she’s ready to soak up some attention for herself! She’s bit timid when meeting new people, but once she gets to know you she loves getting chin-rubs and chasing wand toys. She is very treat-motivated and has perfect litter box manners. Her foster mom says that when she is on your lap, she gives a happy tweety-bird trill. Comet was in a foster home without other cats or dogs. She’ll do best with a quiet, patient adopter that can give her time to adjust to new surroundings.
