Ready to join you for life’s adventures, Cody (aka Kirby) is a sweet and smart 6-month-old, 76-pound best friend that loves to join you for rides in the car and walks in the park. He’s a young, athletic and energetic dog that needs vigorous daily exercise. Currently in foster care after coming to AFRP from the Hitchcock Road Animal Services, Cody is a quick learner that is house trained, knows how to sit, and walks nicely on the leash. He has not had any formal training and he’d do well in obedience classes. Cody gets along nicely with other dogs, but does show interest in chasing cats, so a feline-free home would be best. He is most comfortable with women, but does warm up to men over time. Cody is a very social dog that will do best in a household with another dog friend and people that are home much of the day. He’s a loyal, watchful and loving dog that will be a wonderful lifelong companion! Meet and greets can be arranged once your online application has been received and approved.
