With a happy and bouncy personality, Cleo is a 10-month-old, 28-pound mixed breed pup that is ready to make up for lost time! She came to AFRP from the Hitchcock Road Animal Services after coming in as an injured stray, likely hit by a car. Cleo underwent weeks of crate rest while her fractured right shoulder healed, and now she is ready for fun, fun, fun! This social girl gets along with all adults and she is good with kids (over age 8 would be best due to her high energy level.) She plays nicely with other dogs of all sizes, and she would be a great addition to a multi-dog household. She has not had experience with cats. Smart and eager to please, Cleo responds to positive reinforcement training and she is very treat motivated. She is doing great with her potty training skills and she’s eager to learn her basic obedience commands. Cleo is looking for an active adopter that can continue her training and make sure she gets plenty of love, play time and exercise every day.
