Hi, I'm Clara Bell. I was adopted on December 22!

DSH

Grey/White

Senior, Female

Senior Special – adoption fee waived! Clara Bell is a timid yet good-natured 10-year-old grey and white cat who was born in an old school bus at a wrecking yard in north Monterey County. She was fed by an employee, but never had the luxury of living as a house cat as a youngster, so she missed that important window of socialization as a kitten. Once Clara trusts you, she loves to be petted and rolls over on her back when you rub her head. Clara Bell is a very shy girl and will require a patient adopter who will give her plenty of time to adjust to her new home. Setting her up in a quiet spare bedroom while you are getting to know each other would be perfect. Clara panics when you try to pick her up, and she needs to be sedated to have routine vet care done. She is looking for a very experienced adopter that has some experience with semi-feral cats.  Indoor-only home a must. Clara is best friends with KB, also on the web, and they need to be adopted together. Clara is currently in foster care while our AFRP Adoption Center is closed.

Please note that during the COVID-19 pandemic, we are giving preference to adopters in Monterey County and Santa Cruz County.
