Hi, I'm Bohdi. I was adopted on June 16!

Golden Doodle

White and Tan

Young, Male

Bohdi’s goal in life is to have fun, fun fun! He’s an affectionate and energetic 11-month-old, 60-pound Golden-Doodle pup that came to AFRP when his family could no longer care for him. This bouncy boy is ready to live a life full of  happy adventures with an active family that can include him in their daily lives. Bohdi is a very social dog that loves to be near his people and he thinks he’s an overgrown lap dog. He is house trained, crate trained and knows how to use a doggy door. He sleeps through the night in his crate (or on your bed) and he knows his basic obedience commands and walks nicely on harness and leash. He’s a curious and mischievous dog that has been known to counter-surf, so continued obedience and manners training is a must. This fun-loving dog is looking for a fast-paced family that can make sure he gets plenty of exercise, play time, room to run, social opportunities and continued positive training. He is learning how to play with other dogs in an appropriate way and he should do fine with kids over age 7.  Unknown with cats. Regular grooming is a requirement for this breed.  Meet and greets can be arranged after your online application has been approved.

Please note: Due to COVID and high demand, preference is given to residents of Monterey County and Santa Cruz County.
