Hi, I'm Birdee. I was adopted on January 30!
Great Pyrenees
White and Brown
Baby, Female
Birdee is an adorable 2-month-old Great Pyrenees puppy that will likely weigh 85 – 100 pounds when full-grown. She was bottle fed in foster care after being rescued from the same neglectful situation that our 14 rescued Border Collie puppies came from. Birdee was only one week old when rescued, after being found in a pen with her deceased litter mates. Happily, Birdee not only survived, she thrived, and she’s now 16 pounds of bouncy puppy energy! This breed is not for everyone, and we are specifically looking for an adopter with previous Great Pyrenees experience. They are very sweet dogs but can also be stubborn, independent and challenging to train. Birdee is a very affectionate, energetic and playful girl that enjoys playing with the other dogs in her foster home. This is not an apartment dog, and she’ll do best in a home with adequate space. Due to her very large size, adult adopter or family with kids over age 8 preferred. To be considered for adoption, please fill out an online application.
Please note: Due to COVID-19, preference is given to residents of Monterey County and Santa Cruz County.
