Hi, I'm Billie. I was adopted on December 20!
Longhaired Chihuahua Mix
Red and White
Adult, Female
Full of happy energy, Billie is a 1 1/2-year-old, 7-pound Longhaired Chihuahua mix that will fill your heart and home with lots of love and silly doggie escapades. Billie has been in foster care since coming to AFRP from San Jose Animal Care and Control as an injured stray. Most likely hit by a car, Billie underwent FHO surgery and has made a wonderful recovery. Her vet recommends joint supplements for her lifetime to help her stay strong and pain free. Billie absolutely loves to play with toys, balls, chew sticks and more – and if the toy squeaks, it’s a bonus! If you are busy, Billie will throw toys to herself 24/7. She loves to be the center of attention, and when she’s tired herself out, she will cuddle on your lap. Billie gets along fine with the other dogs in her foster home though can be a bit bossy, and she will most likely chase cats. Generally fairly quiet, Billie will bark if the doorbell rings and at strangers, though she warms up quickly. Billie will do best with an active adopter that can continue her training and manners. She is not an apartment dog and would love to have a backyard for running and playing. Due to her high energy level, adult household or family with kids over age 10 would be best. Meet and greets can be arranged once your online application is received and approved.
