Tiny treasure! Bijou is a precious 3-year-old, 7-pound Chihuahua mix that is the ultimate lap dog! She would love to find a home where she can continue that line of work indefinitely. Bijou gave birth to four puppies in foster care after coming to AFRP from the Hitchcock Road Animal Services as a very pregnant stray in July. She was a good mom to her puppies, and now she’s ready for a home of her own. She can be a bit timid when meeting new people or going new places, so it’s important for her to be around other confident people and dogs so she can take her cues from them. She would love to go to a home with another friendly small dog buddy. Due to her small and fragile size, an adult home or family with gentle teens is preferred. Bijou is currently in foster care and she is available for meet and greets. The first step is to fill out an online application.
