Hi, I'm Benny. I was adopted on September 25!
Chihuahua Mix
Tan and White
Baby, Male
Benny is a bright and bouncy 3-4-month-old, 7-pound Chihuahua mix puppy that loves snuggling on laps and playing with toys. He and his brother Luke came to AFRP from the Monterey SPCA when they needed to clear their shelter to make room for fire evacuees. Currently in foster care, Benny is a smart and responsive pup that is doing well with potty training. Benny loves his crate and sleeps in it at night. He is beginning to understand basic commands and he responds when you call his name. He has been through a lot of changes in his young life, and understandably Benny can be a bit shy and nervous about new experiences, but he warms up quickly. Benny gets along with other dogs but will bark at cats. He is in foster care with gentle children. Benny loves to snuggle on a lap or a blanket, and he can entertain himself with a treat or a chew toy. Benny is in foster care and is available for meet and greets. The first step is to fill out an online application.
Please note: Due to COVID-19, preference is giving to residents of Monterey County and Santa Cruz County.
