Barnabus is a sweet 3-year-old poodle mix that swerved into traffic when running loose in Salinas. Sadly, he was hit by a car and suffered a broken hip and multiple cuts and scrapes. The Hitchcock Road Animal Services called AFRP for assistance, and we were able to arrange for him to have the surgical FHO procedure that would allow him to heal and have a pain-free future. Barnabus is currently in foster care while healing from his surgery, and he’ll be available for adoption once he has been cleared by the vet.
