Hi, I'm Bamba. I was adopted on February 26!

Chihuahua Mix

Brindle

Adult, Female

Bamba is ready to fill your heart and home with love! She’s a calm, sweet and smart 4-year-old, 9-pound Chihuahua mix with a beautiful brindle coat. Bamba is currently in foster care after coming to AFRP from the Hitchcock Road Animal Services. She was surrendered when her family had a large number of pets and could no longer care for her. A bit overwhelmed at first, Bamba bonds closely with her caregivers and her favorite activity is snuggling on laps and spending time with her people. She is a bit of a homebody that can be timid with meeting new people and leaving her comfort zone, so she’s looking for a patient adopter that can help her gain confidence and feel comfortable in the big wide world. Bamba is doing well with her house training skills, and she is learning basic obedience commands. She is fluent in Spanish, and she is doing her best to learn English! Bamba gets along nicely with other small dogs, and she is fine with gentle children over age 6. She has not been tested with cats. Meet and greets can be arranged once an application is approved.

Please note: Due to COVID-19, preference is given to residents of Monterey County and Santa Cruz County.
